The San Francisco Peninsula is Silicon Valley’s Convention & Visitors Bureau, a destination marketing organization focused on attracting meetings, events, and travelers to the Bay Area.
As Film & Communication Liaison, I wore many hats:
Created, managed, and trafficked social content and media assets to promote the destination
Grew Instagram followers and engagement by 80%
Increased output and engagement across Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
Developed new social strategies to safely promote the destination during COVID-19 pandemic.
Managed and processed all film permit requests across San Mateo County
Partnered with location scouts and producers to market filming locations
Updated film guidelines to reflect current county regulations
Wrote travel and leisure blogs for B2C and B2B audiences
Supported production of videos, virtual events, and webinars
