THE SAN FRANCISCO PENINSULA
The San Francisco Peninsula is Silicon Valley’s Convention and Visitors Bureau — a Destination Marketing Organization in the Bay Area with the goal of attracting meetings, conventions, business, and individual travelers to the destination.
As the Film & Communication Liaison (Jan 2020 - Jan 2021), I wore many hats:
Created, managed and trafficked all social content and media assets to promote the destination.
Increased Instagram followers and interaction by 76 percent.
Increased number of Facebook posts, Tweets, LinkedIn posts and overall engagement with the DMO’s platforms.
Implemented new social strategies and ideas to safely and smartly promote the destination during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Processed and managed all film permit requests for the county.
Worked with location scouts/producers and marketed film locations in our destination.
Updated our Film Guidelines page with current and up-to-date rules regarding filming in our area.
Wrote blogs highlighting different travel and leisure activities in the area.
Helped produce videos and virtual events for the company.
