I joined Spotify in 2021 as a contract Content Programming Assistant on Spotify Greenroom (later rebranded to Spotify Live), supporting live audio programming from the ground up.

Content Programming Assistant

  • Supported original & exclusive (O&E) programming, including talent coordination and live room scheduling via backend tools

  • Wrote show synopses to support product, marketing, and social teams

  • Identified key moments from episodes to inform editorial copy

  • Moderated live chats and supported hosts during live production

In 2022, I transitioned to a full-time Project Coordinator role on Spotify Live, focusing on sports programming.

  • Managed relationships with sports podcast talent and producers (including shows under The Ringer network)

  • Partnered cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and legal on show launches and updates

  • Tracked contracts, show details, and milestones in Airtable for cross-team visibility

  • Supported live podcast events and fan-facing activations

Following Spotify Live’s sunset, I moved to Podcast Studios under New Formats as a Creative Development Coordinator.

  • Contributed to creative development for podcasts, video formats, and original programming

  • Produced a weekly culture newsletter for internal teams and executives covering trends in music, media, and pop culture (I have these saved if theres any interest in reading!)

  • Supported ideation for shows including Anything Goes (Emma Chamberlain)

  • Developed frameworks for educational and audiobook programming initiatives

  • Partnered with the US Podcast Editorial team to surface timely, trending content

  • Contributed to writers’ rooms, ideating new formats and products—including early development of Spotify’s AI DJ

In June 2023, I was impacted by company-wide layoffs following a broader strategic shift.
